Helping a Great Cause
A statewide memorial for Arizona’s Fallen Firefighters & Emergency Paramedics will cost more than a million dollars. A large part of that cost will be in the bronze statutes that will represent firefighters and paramedics even though the sculptors will be donating some of their time and expertise.
Statewide, firefighters are supportive of this effort. Forty other states have memorials and it’s about time Arizona create its own statewide memorial. All funds will be donated to a 501(c)3 non-profit entity – Phoenix Firefighters Charities. There will be no administrative fees taken from donations. There are no salaries associated with the memorial, all members of the commission are volunteers. Every cent donated will be utilized to complete the memorial.

Your support and assistance is vital. Donations may be made directly through this website and donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Larger donations will be sought from major Arizona corporate entities and fire departments throughout the state will be invited to support and participate.
Your donation is greatly appreciated. More than 119 firefighters, paramedics and wildland firefighters have given their lives. It is time to recognize their sacrifice and to prepare for the continued sacrifice of such men and women as they continue to protect Arizona citizens every day.
All funds raised toward the memorial will be spent specifically on the memorial. All funds will be donated to a special fund under Phoenix Firefighters Charities, a 501(c)3 entity providing tax deductible status to all contributions. There are no administrative fees charged by the charity or by the memorial commission. 100% of contributed funds go directly to the expenses of the memorial.
